Noida cop rapes 7-year-old, uses Rs 10 note to lure her

Noida : A 45-year-old constable has allegedly raped a seven year old minor girl in presence of her younger brother after luring her with a ten rupee note on Wednesday evening.

The accused cop was on deputation with Sales Tax department Gautam Budh Nagar in Noida.

Subhash Singh assaulted the girl for about half an hour and then flew from the site after people started gathering due to rescue cry.

The victims' family members and local residents disturbed over the brutal assault, lost cool, and roughed up the constable with shoes and sandals and handed over to police.

The accused who returned to his rented apartment the next morning was first thrashed by the locals and then arrested by the cops.

A case under POSCO has been registered against the constable. "He was produced in court and sent to judicial custody," Akhilesh Pradhan, SHO Surajpur police station said.

The child has been sent to the district hospital at Sector 30, Noida for medical test and reports are awaited.
