On camera, lawyer couple stabbed to death in broad day light

Telangana : In Telangana, an incident has shocked the humanity and has raised serious questions over the safety of people in the state. A lawyer couple has been stabbed to death on main street road in broad day light and the passerby only saw it happening and some recording the whole incident on camera.

G Vaman Rao and his wife G Nagamani, the lawyers at Telangana High Court, were on their way to Hyderabad when unidentified assailants pulled them off their vehicle and hacked them to death.

What shamed humanity is that the passerby made videos and none of them offered help which may have saved their lives.

A week back, Vaman Rao had taken a minor to the State Human Rights Commission after she was allegedly raped by her uncle and the police were accused of dragging their feet on her complaint.

Ramagundem Police has said that Vaman Rao's vehicle was forcefully occupied by two assailants who stopped their car and dragged them out to kill them.
