PM Modi fulfilled what enemies wanted, destruction of Indian Economy: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi : Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday blamed Prime Minister Narendra  Modi and his policies for the destruction of Indian economy, a wish of enemies of India.

"All the enemies of India wanted that India's economy, which was the strong pillar against the world, be destroyed and the task has been achieved not by our enemies but by our Prime Minister himself. And then he calls himself a patriot," said Rahul Gandhi during a rally in the presence of chief Sonia Gandhi, former PM Manmohan Singh and his sister Priyanka Gandhi at the 'Bharat Bachao rally'.

During the rally he escalated several issues related to economic slowdown, protests after citizenship bill, unemployment and farmer woes.

Slogans like 'Modi hai to mandi hai', a pun to BJP catch phrase 'Modi hai to mumkin hai' and black balloons to protest against the BJP regime were seen in the rally.

Sonia Gandhi urged the people of India to walk out of their homes and protest against the current government, saying there is always a moment when you get a chance to finish the fight.
