PM Modi returns to work soon after performing last rites of his mother Heeraben

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother died early Friday morning, she has been cremated in Gandhinagar. PM Modi perform last rites. She was 99-year-old.

PM Modi’s mother took her last breath at 3:39 AM on Friday. She was admitted to UN Mehta Heart Hospital in Ahmedabad a couple of days back.

Informing about her death, the Prime Minister posted a heartfelt tweet early this morning, "A glorious century rests at the feet of God... In Maa, I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values."

Prime Minister in Modi returned to his official engagements after performing the last rites of her mother. BJP leaders and his ministerial colleagues called him karmayogi and lauded him for his commitment towards the work and the nation.
