New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday tweeted a picture of him as he enjoyed litti chokha along with kullhad tea during his surprise visit to a crafts fair, "Hunar Haat", at Rajpath.

After chairing the meeting of a union cabinet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a surprise visit to "Hunar Haat", organised by the Ministry of Minority Affairs. He spent around 50 minutes there and met with the artists participating in the fair. Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was with him.

According to a media report, the officials of the ministry were in surprise when they got to know about PM Modi coming to the event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi ate litti chokha and also paid Rs 120 for it to the vendor. The Prime Minister also sipped tea served in a "kulhad", sitting with Naqvi, and paid Rs 40 for two cups.

He shared photos on his Twitter timeline with the comment: "Had tasty Litti Chokha for lunch along with a hot cup of tea."

He even tried his hand at traditional chimes and tweeted: "Trying my hand at some music in #HunarHaat..."

The Hunar Haat is based on the theme of "Kaushal Ko Kaam" and will be held till February 23. Master artisans, craftsmen and culinary experts, including more than 50 per cent women, from across the country are participating at the Haat.
