Pradyuman murder case: CBI detains class 11 student on murder charges
New Delhi : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday detained a class 11 student of Gurgaon, Haryana's Ryan International School in alleged connection with the murder of seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur.
The arrest comes as a major twist as the conductor has confessed to the crime earlier. The Gurgaon Police had arrested the bus conductor believing to be the prime suspect in the murder case.
Gurgaon Police even claimed they had managed to secure a confession from the conductor - Ashok Kumar.
Class 3 student Pradyuman Thakur was found dead in a washroom at Ryan International School with his throat slit.
The case was transferred to CBI after family members pressurised Haryana Government with raising demands of proper investigation in the case.
