Priyanka Gandhi likely to be Congress Working President: Report

New Delhi : Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi is mulling over Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the party’s working president, said a report. Aiming 2019 General Elections, her name has been discussed in a meeting for all the key posts to reignite the passion in the party.

Sonia Gandhi discussed her name as party’s working president with senior leaders including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. "It wasn’t a casual question. She clearly had something on her mind. There is a lot of merit in this move if it happens," a CWC member told DNA.

On asking for the confirmation to the report, Priyanka Gandhi's PA denied it and claimed that the report is fabricated over the false facts.

Earlier, there was a buzz that Rahul Gandhi will take over the President post after Sonia Gandhi retires from the party.
