Kanpur : Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday raised demands of 'Kisan budget' from Prime Minister Narendra Modi government.

The demand has been raised with a view to ensure farmers get the right price for what they produce.

"I have heard the railway budget is being merged with the general budget. If this can be done, I would ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi to prepare 'Kisan budget'," he said at a Khaat Sabha in Ghatampur.
