Rahul Gandhi takes cue from Narendra Modi's Hugplomacy: Twitter abuzz

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi hugging several international leaders made Rahul Gandhi curious as he went to do the unexpected.

The Congress chief, who had taken several digs on PM Narendra Modi's hugplomacy, on Friday left everyone amazed with his hug to the Prime Minister.

Immediately after completing his speech on No Confidence Motion, Congress President Rahul Gandhi walked across the well of the house to give Prime Minister Narendra Modi a warm hug.

Stunned with the act, social media had to fly high on reactions. Here are some reactions:

“@narendramodi gets a taste of his own hugs from @RahulGandhi!  And that too minutes after @HarsimratBadal_ said that Parliament is not for “Munna Bhai’s puppy- jhappis,” a Twitter user said.

Another user Ankur Singh tweeted, “even more awkward hug #Hugplomacy.”     

“Pappu becomes Munna Bhai!” Neelanshu Shukla said.

Priyanka Bansal tweeted, “The most forced hug of all times probably. Consent Ka kya, Mr. Gandhi?#NoConfidenceMotion #PappuKiJhappi”

Another Twitter user, Harsh Singhavi said, “Pappu is learning from priya”.
