New Delhi : He has done exceptional work along with his team during the global pandemic and says that even now things will be in place if tough times revisit.

We have seen many individuals who have contributed immensely towards the betterment of humankind since time unknown. They have done their bit and have won the trust and well wishes of millions whose lives have been positively impacted by their support. We have one such name who had been a driving force in getting his team in place during the recent pandemic that the world experienced, he is Raunak Singh, who heads the eminent non-profit organization Sikh Aid, which has helped more than 10,000 people during the tough times that devastated human life in the past many months. His team has been providing oxygen to those in need during the second wave which hit the country.

Raunak Singh confidently says that his team is ready for any calamity that strikes the country again, including the third wave that is expected to spread gloom across the globe as predicted. According to statistics the Omicron case count has gone up to 370 this week after various states like Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra reported positive counts which have been on the rise and is spreading at a fast pace. The government has issued orders to take precautions as Omicron cases are expected to rise in coming months. He says that they are prepared to handle the situation if the need arises and will take the responsibility of arranging a 50 bed hospital as a precautionary measure, which can be increased to 500 beds within a couple of days if situation demands.

For people who are unaware, Sikh Aid was at the forefront of India's COVID relief during second wave and their team had worked round the clock arranging necessary supplies like oxygen cylinders and helping people in need by organizing relief camps too. The organization works on the Sikh principle "Naam Japo, Kirat Karo, Vandh Chakho". Since 2020, Sikh Aid has been consistently contributing towards the betterment of humankind and has spread across different cities including Pune, Odisha, Kolkata, Mumbai, Punjab and Delhi. The kind of work Raunak Singh and his NGO Sikh Aid have been doing has earned them enormous recognition across the country as they continue to work consistently to help people in times of distress.
