Reasi bus mishap: At least 22 killed, several injured
Bidda : At least 22 people were killed and several others were injured on Thursday after a bus they were travelling in fell into a gorge at Bidda in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian Air Force helicopters airlifted critically injured people from the site to the hospital.
As per the defence release, the 'Condors' (a Mi-17 1V unit located at Jammu) received a message about a CasEvac of victims of a bus accident near Reasi, 70 km north of Jammu.
Moments after the crew located the bus, they started rescue operation quickly.
The civil authorities carried out ground activities responsibly with ambulance and the patients.
