Romance on stage costs marriage to Uttar Pradesh man

New Delhi : In Uttar Pradesh (UP), a girl cancelled her marriage soon after her to be husband turned over romantic on the stage and lifted her in his arms during the jaimal ceremony.

The incident happened at Satpura village in UP, where groom came with all festivities and fervour to tie knot to his girls of dream. The bride's family welcomed groom and his family with all joy. Amid music and dance, the groom reached to the stage and waited for his bride; soon after she arrived, the groom turned over romantic and lifted her in his arms on the stage.

His action turned off bride's mood and she left the stage in anger. The groom pleaded her to stop but she did not hear a single request. After which, the family members also tried to convince her but she rejected all appeals.

Later at night, the case reached to the police who also attempted to resolve the matter by talks. When no result came. The groom's family returned all the money taken from bride's family and left the venue without completing the marriage.

It has also been reported that the two sides have been challenged for creating disturbances during the night.
