Rouse Avenue Court grants bail to Lalu Prasad Yadav and son in money laundering case
New Delhi : The Rouse Avenue Court has granted bail to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his sons – Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Singh, in money laundering case after they furnished a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh each. The next date of hearing in land for job money laundering case has been scheduled for October 25, 2024.
Special judge Vishal Gogne granted bail to the accused.
The final report was submitted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on August 6, following an FIR registered by the CBI.
The case relates to Group-D railway appointments in the West Central Zone, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, made during Lalu Prasad Yadav's tenure as railway minister from 2004 to 2009.
It has been alleged that the accused used to take the land in exchange of jobs.
