Kanpur train accident: 2 killed, Several injured as 14 coaches of Sealdah-Ajmer Express derail at Rura station

Kanpur : 14 coaches of Train no 12987 Ajmer-Sealdah Express have been derailed near Kanpur. As per initial information over 50 people have been injured in the accident that happened during wee hours of Wednesday.

The incident happened at around 5:20 AM, near Rura railway station (50 kms from Kanpur). The movement of trains on the route has been affected due to this.

Ministry of Railways has issued helpline numbers and also deployed rescue team at the spot.
