Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra from Tirupati Reaches Varanasi After Covering Nearly 2,000 KM Across Five States

New Delhi : The Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra, undertaken from Tirupati to Varanasi under the guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu and Hon’ble IT and Education Minister Shri Nara Lokesh and organised by the Telugu Nadu Students’ Federation (TNSF) and Telugu Yuvata, reached Varanasi today after covering nearly 2,000 kilometres across five states.

The seven-day journey, which began from Tirupati on 30 September 2026, brought together 25 young riders in a unique journey combining youth participation, spirituality, service and the message of national integration. The yatra was organised as part of the wider Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, commemorating 25 years of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s public life and service to the nation.

The journey commenced at the foothills of Tirumala with prayers seeking the blessings of Bhagwan Venkateswara. From Tirupati, the riders travelled through Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, receiving warm welcomes from TDP, BJP, JSP and local cadres along the route.

A key feature of the yatra was the carrying of a sacred Jal Kalash, containing holy waters collected from important rivers during the journey. Water was collected from the Krishna River at Vijayawada and the Godavari River at Bhadrachalam, and was carried onwards to Kashi for its sacred offering towards the Ganga and the culmination of the yatra. The riders also visited several important spiritual centres, including Srikalahasti Temple, Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada, Sri Rama Temple in Bhadrachalam and Champa Ashram Shanti Dham Temple in Maharashtra, before proceeding towards Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The journey covered major stretches including Tirupati–Srikalahasti–Kavali; Kavali–Martur–Chilakaluripet–Guntur–Mangalagiri; Mangalagiri–Vijayawada–Mylavaram–Bhadrachalam; Bhadrachalam–Warangal–Karimnagar–Peddapalli–Rama gundam–Mancherial; Mancherial–Adilabad–Nagpur; and Nagpur–Jabalpur–Rewa–Prayagraj–Varanasi.

A significant moment during the journey came in Nagpur, where yatra participants Animini Ravi Naidu and M. V. Pranav Gopal interacted with Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis and presented him with prasadam from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. Upon reaching Varanasi, the riders were warmly received by Shri Vijay Chintakayala and Shri Sana Satish Babu, Hon’ble Members of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). The welcome event was also graced by Shri Ravindra Jaiswal, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Stamp and Court Fee, Registration, Government of Uttar Pradesh, who welcomed the participants and appreciated the spirit of the yatra.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Vijay Chintakayala, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), said, “This is not merely a bike rally, but a living journey of India’s cultural unity. Centuries ago, Adi Shankaracharya established maths in the four directions of India, conveying the message that India is not merely a country defined by geographical boundaries, but a shared cultural consciousness. Today, that same spirit has come alive through this journey.” The yatra’s arrival in Varanasi carries a special cultural significance. The movement of sacred waters from rivers of southern India towards the Ganga in Kashi symbolises the civilisational and cultural unity of India. From Tirupati to Kashi, the journey brought together different regions, traditions and communities through a shared spiritual and national consciousness.

The yatra also sought to highlight the role of young people in public life, with the 25 riders carrying the message of Seva, Sankalp, spirituality, development and national integration across the states through which they travelled. The yatra also reflected the leadership and vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu and Shri Nara Lokesh, whose public life has placed strong emphasis on development, youth participation, innovation and building a more prosperous Andhra Pradesh. Their commitment to advancing the state’s development agenda while working in alignment with the larger national vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has given renewed momentum to the spirit of development and public service, contributing to the larger vision of a Viksit Bharat and an Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The Seva Sankalp Yatra carried this same spirit forward by bringing together young people, cultural heritage, spirituality and the shared aspiration of a stronger, more developed and self-reliant India.

The journey culminated with participation in the Ganga Aarti and  prayers  and Jalabhishek  at  Shri  Kashi  Vishwanath Temple, bringing the sacred waters carried from the Krishna and Godavari to their final spiritual destination in Kashi. From Tirupati to Kashi - Five States, Nearly 2,000 KM, Sacred Waters from Krishna and Godavari, and 25 Young Riders Carrying the Spirit of Seva Across India.
