Puri : The moment cyclone Fani made landfall in Odisha, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) released a video to show how impactful and dangerous it was at Puri. “The sound and the fury: here’s what the landfall at Puri by #CycloneFani actually looked like,” tweeted the government’s press arm.

Several trees were uprooted and many buildings wore cracks as the 'extremely severe' cyclone Fani made landfall at Puri.
The authorities evacuated around 11 lakh people from vulnerable and low-lying areas of at least 11 coastal district. No casualties have been reported so far in the natural disaster.
After the landfall, the system is passing through Khurda, Cuttack, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore before entering West Bengal, Sethi stated.
