Bhopal : Four people have been injured, including one police personnel, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally passed in Jabalpur on Sunday. According to reports, the injured people have been shifted to the Victoria Hospital.

The reason behind collapse of the stage has been suspected as overcrowding to watch Prime Minister Narendra Modi's roadshow.

Earlier on Sunday, the Prime Minister started his Lok Sabha Poll campaign in Madhya Pradesh with a roadshow in Jabalpur. He was joined by MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, state PWD minister Rakesh Singh and the party’s Jabalpur Lok Sabha candidate Ashish Dubey.

The roadshow started at around 6:30 pm from Shaheed Bhagat Singh crossing and ended at Adi Shankaracharya crossing in Gorakhpur locality at 7:15 pm.

This was the first time when PM Narendra Modi visited MP after the Lok Sabha Polls announcement. Huge gathering was seen on either side of the road as PM passed through the road in a saffron colour vehicle with BJP's poll symbol – lotus.

In the crowd, people were seen holding placards mentioning – 'Mera Ghar Modi Ka Ghar' and 'Mera Pariwar Modi Ka Pariwar'.

Madhya Pradesh is scheduled to vote during the first four phases on April 19, 26, May 7, and 13. The state boasts 29 Lok Sabha constituencies, each representing a diverse range of region and demographics.
