Stone pelting for Islam, not Kashmir: Hizbul Mujahideen

New Delhi : Another bizarre statement has surfaced in from Hizbul Mujahideen militant Zakir Rashid Bhat over stone pelting. He asks youth to pelt stones for Islam and not 'Kashmir nationalism'. 

Zakir Rashid Bhat had replaced militant Burhan Wani, who was killed by security forces in an encounter in last July. 

A 12-minute long video is being circulated widely across the social media platforms where Hizbul militant can be seen wrongly brainwashing youths to keep pelting stones over security forces.

"When you pelt stones, don't think you're helping just one Musa or one mujahideen. You must do it to help and protect Islam," Musa said. "We'll hoist Islam's flag in our Kashmir one day," he proclaimed.

Separately, he also urged voters in Valley to ditch upcoming bypolls for two parliamentary seats and panchayat polls.
