Strict action against chemists who stock up hand sanitizers: Kejriwal
New Delhi : Amid coronavirus outbreak in India, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has issued a strict warning that the government will initiate action against those who will be found stocking up sanitisers, indicating his steps against the black marketing.
"Strict action would be taken against those chemists who will stock up sanitisers. We are working in coordination with the Centre to contain the spread of COVID-19," Arvind Kejriwal told reporters on Monday.
"Delhi Metro coaches and buses are also being sanitized; those who are healthy are not required to wear any kind of mask," he added.
On the other hand, the health ministry has announced that India's total number of coronavirus cases has gone up to 43. Since Sunday, four new cases - including one toddler - have added to the number.
Sanjeeva Kumar, Special Secretary, Union Health Ministry said the disease has so far not caused any deaths in the country.
