Sushma Swaraj cremated with full state honours

New Delhi : Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has been cremated with full state honours at Delhi's Lodhi crematorium on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top leaders - Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Piyush Goyal among others – attended the cremation of India's Iron Lady.
Earlier, leaders from across the nation came to have last glimpse of the senior BJP leader as her body was brought in a glass casket from her residence to the party headquarters.
Sushma Swaraj took her last breath on Tuesday night after suffering a major cardiac arrest; she was rushed to AIIMS Delhi, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
