Swachh Survekshan 2017 Results: Indore takes No. 1 spot; top 10 cities of India

New Delhi : Swachh Survekshan 2017 Results has been announced by the Indian government on Thursday. Indore turned out to be the cleanest city of India. Check which city managed to find place in top 10 list.

Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu declared the results at the National Media Centre, New Delhi, followed by an award ceremony.
Under Swachh Survekshan-2017 initiative, Quality Council of India (QCI) had conducted a survey to rank cities across the country on cleanliness with a population of one lakh and above.
"Swachh Survekshan 2017 was conducted in 434 cities. A total of 37 lakh citizens participated, making it largest survey conducted by govt," said Venkaiah Naidu.
