Patna : At Bihar Assembly Floor test, RJD Tejashwi Yadav took a jibe at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and claimed that now he will stop PM Modi and BJP from entering the state. He also took a pot shot and said that JD(U) chief has taken oath as CM three times in one term.

Tejashwi Yadav, in the Bihar assembly, expressed sympathy for JDU MLAs facing public scrutiny. He challenged them to explain Nitish Kumar's multiple oaths and the shift from criticizing the BJP to praising them. Yadav countered by highlighting his party's focus on job creation.

"I feel bad for JD(U) MLAs who are directly in touch with people and have to answer them for everything CM Nitish Kumar is doing," Yadav said.

He also said that once CM Nitish Kumar had said that he will stop PM Modi and BJP; now when CM has switched sides, the same moto will be carried forward by his nephew (Tejashwi Yadav).

"We think of you (CM Nitish Kumar) as a member of our family. We are from the Samajwadi family...Jo aap jhanda le kar ke chale the ki Modi ko desh mein rokne hain, ab aapka Bhateeja jhanda utha kar ke Modi ko Bihar mein rokne ka kaam karega (the flag you had raised to stop the BJP across the country, now your nephew (Tejashwi Yadav himself) will carry that flag and stop Modi in Bihar)," he added.

The JD(U) has 45 MLAs in the House of 243 while its partners, the BJP and the Hindustani Awam Morcha-Secular (HAM-S), have 79 and 4 sitting legislators respectively. With the support of another Independent MLA, the NDA has 128 MLAs in the House against 115 of the Mahagathbandhan.
