About Abdul Qayoom Najar

Nazar joined militancy at an early age of 16 but got arrested in 1992. Post release he worked at an electric shop for about 2 years and then re-joined militancy in 1995. Before entering into the second phase of the shameful terrorist job, he destroyed all his pictures and records, including the ones in his school.

For past 22 years, security agencies have been hunting him with no photograph of concrete details.

For past few years, Nazar was amongst the most wanted militants in North Kashmir. The security forces had also announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh on him.
