Terrorists abduct, murder another teen in South Kashmir
New Delhi : Within 48 hours of execution of a schoolboy by a group of terrorists, another teen's body has been found with throat slit in Kashmir's Shopian district on Saturday.
Huzaif Kuttay, a baker from nearby Kulgam district, was among five people abducted by terrorists from various villages across the district earlier today. The cops confirmed that two of the victims were freed after question while three of them remained missing.
"Terrorists killed the civilian in a brutal act of terror after he was kidnapped earlier in the day from Saidpora area," a police officer said.
Earlier, the terrorists had executed a 17-year-old boy on suspicion that he is an informer of the security forces. The video of the execution was massively shared on the social media, drawing strong condemnation from netizens and political parties alike.
Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned Mr Kuttay's murder on Twitter soon after his body was found. "Another dastardly killing of a young man, and this time the terrorists slit his throat. This barbarism has no place in our society. No struggle, no matter how lofty the claims to justify it, can condone this inhuman behaviour," he said.
Abduction of people by the terrorist in Kashmir is something which has become a regular affair, but this was the first time when a video of execution was posted on social media.
