Total number of COVID-19 cases in India rises to 492
New Delhi : Despite complete lockdown in India, the number of coronavirus cases is continuously increasing. The total number of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) cases has reached to 492.
446 of them are active cases, 36 people have been cured, nine people have died and one has migrated out from the nation.
The government has suspended all domestic flights from today to stem the spread of coronavirus, stepping up a nationwide lockdown that threatens Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s attempts to revive the economy, which has already been expanding at the slowest pace in more than a decade.
Meanwhile, essential shops were seen open at several places to ensure people have enough supply of food.
