New Delhi : TRAI DTH Best Fit Plan: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced new guidelines for DTH service operators which have been implemented from 1st February 2019. However, not all the DTH subscribers are thorough with the new guidelines of TRAI and people are constantly complaining about the new rules on social media. Even, some of the subscribers’ complaint that the new rule of TRAI has increased the bill of entertainment pack.
However, TRAI claims that the new DTH rules will reduce the bill and people will also get chance to choose the channel packages. TRAI also gave some new suggestions to DTH and cable operators to bring the remaining subscribers under new regulation.
The purpose of the plans is to bring those users under this new rule who have not yet adopted the best fit DTH plans. Many things related to the plan have been cleared in Best Fit Plan.
What is DTH best fit plan
According to TRAI's press release, 'Best Fit Plan is based on the customer's language and usage pattern. Best Fit Plan is a type of customized channel pack that will be prepared by DTH and cable operators. But there will be only those channels which will be of the subscriber's choice. These plans should not be expensive from the current bill of the consumer. It must be noted that the best fit plan will be provided only on behalf of the service providers, therefore people are advised to contact their service providers.
TRAI DTH best fit plan: Special features
Best fit plan will be given on the basis of the subscriber's preference. If you are a fan of Hindi and English channels, service providers will give you these two language channels. The bill of this plan will be less than or equal to your current TV bill.
If you do not choose the best fit plan, according to TRAI it will be applicable to you automatically. Conversely, the old plans of the customers will go as long as the subscriber does not go into the best fit plan.
