'Tum Se Na Ho Payega': Congress mocks PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi : The Congress attacked Bharatiya Janata Party over denial of media reports claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding a press conference, by saying 'Tum Se Na Ho Payega (you will not be able to do it)'.

While there were media reports which claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be holding a press conference on April 26 in Varanasi, the BJP rejected those reports by saying that no presser has been scheduled for either Thursday or Friday.

PM Narendra Modi will be paying a visit to Varanasi on April 25-26; he will also file his nomination papers for the ongoing Lok Sabha Election 2019.

Reacting sharply to Bharatiya Janata Party's clarification, the Congress tweeted: "Tum se na ho payega".

Congress had been continuously attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi by claiming that he does not have a courage to face the journalists.

After releasing the Congress' manifesto on April 2, Gandhi had asked the media persons to question the prime minister as to why he is "scared of facing a press conference".

"You ask me questions, but you are scared of him. Ask him 'Mr Prime Minister why are you scared of the people of India, why are you scared of the press'...We will defeat him in the polls," Gandhi had said.
