New Delhi : Only after a couple of days Piyush Goyal took charge as a railway minister, two train accidents have been reported in a day, including one in Delhi and other in Uttar Pradesh that is already facing a string of train accidents in last one month.

At least two coaches of Ranchi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express were derailed near Minto Bridge station on Thursday morning. Thankfully, none got hurt and it was not major as the train was travelling at slow speed.

Another incident of train derailment came from the adjoining Uttar Pradesh where seven coaches Shaktipunj Express were derailed near Sonbhadra. None got injured in this too.

According to railway officials, the incident occurred near Obara around 6 a.m. The train from Howrah in West Bengal was headed to Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.

With this the total count of train mishappening in the latest month has gone up to 5 and new Railway Minister Piyush Goyal will have to tackle the situation all alone.
