Valentine's Day protest: Dog, donkey get married in Chennai

Chennai : A dog and donkey were married by Bharat Hindu Front cadres to protest Valentine's Day celebration in Chennai.

Chennai Police later detained all the protesters to maintain peace and calm on the roads.

During the marriage rituals, a dog and donkey were garlanded with flowers and had their foreheads marked with turmeric in Chennai's Choolai area.

The women cadres carried plates filled with materials used as a ritual performed in Hindu marriages.

Meanwhile, there were reports from Ahmedabad where Bajrang Dal members have been allegedly harassed couples at Sabarmati riverfront.

Moreover, Bajrang Dal members in Hyderabad staged a protest against Valentine's Day.
