Watch Video: Father thrashes 5-year-old son and kicks 3-year-old daughter in Rajasthan

New Delhi : A 33-year-old man was arrested in Rajsamand’s Phukiyathar village on Tuesday for thrashing his five-year-old son and kicking his three-year-old daughter after a video of his barbaric act went viral on social media.The video, which has evokes anger and shock. 

In the video, Chain Singh is seen caning his 5-year-old son who has his pants down and is hanging from a rope tied around his chest. In the video, Rawat is seen canning his 3-year-old daughter after tying and hanging her and thrashing his son mercilessly inside their house when his wife was away.

Chain Singh Rawat was arrested under Sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide) of the IPC and other relevant sections of the Juvenile Justice Act. He was produced before a court which sent him to judicial custody, DSP Chandan Singh said.
