Mumbai : A middle-age woman was caught on camera fighting a leopard with a walking stick in Mumbai's Aarey Wednesday evening. This was the second such attack in three days in the area.

In the video footage captured in a CCTV, the leopard was seen walking near the Aarey dairy area, a minute later, the woman enters the frame, slowly walking with the help of her walking stick. After a minute the woman was seen sitting on an elevated platform with her back towards the wild cat.

The woman has been identified as 55-year-old Nirmala Devi Singh.

The wild cat prowls towards her and as soon as she notices, she uses her stick to push the animal away. Within seconds her family members come out of the house.

According to a news report, the woman has sustained minor injuries in the incident and is currently under medical observation.

Two days ago, a 4-year-old boy was attacked by a leopard. The boy was reportedly playing outside his residence when the leopard tried to dragged him away. The boy was saved after locals rushed to his rescue.
