Kurukshetra : Addressing an election rally in Haryana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed the voters to punish Congress party for trying to spread rumours about Kashmir on nullification of Article 370 of the constitution.

He claimed that removal of Article 370 was required in interest of the national security and supremacy of the constitution is paramount to the country.

Making a strong pitch to the voters of Harayana, PM Modi asserted that the water currently flowing to the neighbouring nation will be stopped and diverted to Haryana as it rightfully belongs to the nation and its farmers.

"For 70 years, water that belonged to Haryana's farmers and to us flowed to Pakistan... But this Modi will stop that water and bring it to your house. I have already started working on it. The water belongs to India and farmers of Haryana...That is why Modi is fighting this for you," he said amid loud cheering from the crowd.
