Army foils infiltration bid in Baramulla, one militant killed

Srinagar : Indian Army on Monday foiled infiltration bid across Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla district killing one militant, defence sources said.

The militant was shot dead while he was trying to enter the Indian boundaries from the neighbouring nation.

"A weapon has been recovered. Search operation is going on in the area," the sources added.

On Sunday, the Indian soldiers had eliminated at least four militants from the Uri's Kaghi forest area via a planned operation.
