'Bharat Bandh': India supports Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation runs in normalcy
New Delhi : 'Bharat Bandh' comes as a perfect example for all the opposition leaders to understand that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had won the elections because India is supporting his decisions.
Most of the opposition leaders had called for 'Bharat Bandh' with tag 'Akrosh Divas' on December 28, 2016. But, people of India came supporting their Prime Minister and his decision to demonetise Indian currency notes as most of the places operated in normalcy.
Oppositions call turned out to be a complete failure and made another example proving why Prime Minister Narendra Modi had won the elections with majority.
Leaders like BSP supremo Mayawati and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also shown disagreement over decision to call 'Bharat Bandh'.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his radio address and several rallies asked people of India to show some patience as it will take some time to remove black money from the Indian economy.
