Demonetisation: PM Narendra Modi gears up to answer opposition, starts from own MPs and MLAs
New Delhi : Gearing up to answer opposition and leaving no scope of fault, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked all Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs and MLAs to share their bank details with party president Amit Shah from November 8 to December 31.
According to sources, he has asked all the lawmakers and legislators to share their financial details by January 1, 2017.
PM Modi also attended BJP Parliamentary Board meeting today to discuss Centre’s move on demonetisation and strategies to answer oppositions demands.
Opposition parties have been demanding Prime Minister’s answers over sudden decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 Indian old currency notes.
He has asked people to support him for 50 days till the time normalcy returns in Indian economy.
