Nothing to worry, Sonia Gandhi is fine: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi : As soon as the news broke out about the admission of Congress President Sonia Gandhi in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi, the get well soon message started reaching the family. Her son Rahul Gandhi later tweeted to inform that there is nothing to worry and that she was much better. 

"Ma was in Shimla and caught a stomach bug so we got her back. Nothing to worry, she is much better. Thanks for the tremendous love and concern," Rahul tweeted.

Sonia Gandhi was rushed to the hospital in Delhi from Shimla for treatment of an upset stomach.

According to Dr DS Rana, chairman, board of management of the hospital, Gandhi was brought to the hospital at 5 pm on Friday and was found to be suffering from an upset stomach. She has been admitted for observation, said Dr Rana.

Sonia Gandhi has been fighting illness from a long time and this is one of the prime reasons she has asked son Rahul Gandhi to take up her post.
