PM Modi adds 'Chowkidar' prefix on Twitter, top leader follows

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi's latest campaign 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' got a social media recognition on Sunday. This morning PM Modi added 'chowkidar' prefix to his name, with top BJP leaders like Amit Shah following it.
Way back in 2014, PM Narendra Modi had called himself a 'chowkidar', referring to his role in protecting the national interest. Yesterday, PM Modi extended the campaign to all people of India, asserting that not only he, anyone "working hard for the progress of India" was a "chowkidar".
However, Congress had twisted the word over controversial Rafale deal with France, saying that "Chowkidar chor hai".
Your Chowkidar is standing firm & serving the nation.

But, I am not alone.
Everyone who is fighting corruption, dirt, social evils is a Chowkidar.
Everyone working hard for the progress of India is a Chowkidar.
Today, every Indian is saying-#MainBhiChowkidar
So far, Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, JP Nadda, Harsh Vardhan and Dharmendra Pradhan have also followed their leaders in changing their names on Twitter accounts. The Prime Minister retweeted many of their messages today.
As Chowkidars of our nation, we are committed to creating a clean economy by using cashless financial transactions.
