Sanjay Raut discharged from hospital, says next CM from Shiv Sena

Mumbai : After two days of treatment, Sanjay Raut has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. He was admitted after reports of chest pain.

Sanjay Raut, 57, had undergone angioplasty on Monday evening.

Soon after getting discharged from the hospital, Sanjay Raut once again claimed that the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be from Shiv Sena.

According to one of his family members, Sanjay Raut has been advised bed rest. "He will have to undergo another check-up after some days to assess the progress of the angioplasty procedure," he said.

Sanjay Raut, executive editor of the Sena's mouthpiece ''Saamana'', became the face of the party's repeated demand for chief ministership for 2.5 years and 50:50 split in portfolios ever since poll results were announced on October 24.

Since then he had been holding several media briefings to slam BJP for not honouring their promise of 50-50 power sharing.
