Atletico Madrid hold final practice before flying to Italy

Madrid : Atletico Madrid carried out their final practice session on Friday before flying to Bruneck, Italy to complete training sessions in preparation for upcoming friendlies.

Atletico's Argentine coach Diego Simeone led the session which saw the first team divided into several groups between the gym and the field of Wanda Sports City here, reports Efe news agency.

Spanish goalkeeper Antonio Adan along with Argentine forward Angel Correa and Spanish midfielder Rodrigo Hernandez joined the practice, as documented by an epa-efe photojournalist.

Atletico are preparing for several matches set to take place in August, including two friendlies against Stuttgart in Germany on Sunday and against Cagliari in Italy on Wednesday.

Atletico are also set to clash with Inter Milan on August 11.

Later, the La Liga side will prepare for the European Super Cup match against Real Madrid on August 15 in Tallinn, Estonia.
