Fiorentina routs SPAL 3-0 in Serie A

Florence (Italy) : Fiorentina claimed its third win of the current Serie A season, defeating visiting SPAL 3-0 at Stadio Artemio Franchi here.

Croatian forward Marko Pjaca opened the scoring for the Viola 18 minutes into the game on Saturday , while Serbian defender Nikola Milenkovic netted the second goal 10 minutes later and Italian winger Federico Chiesa made the score 3-0 in the 56th minute, reports Efe.

Fiorentina has a record of three wins, one draw and one defeat and provisionally holds the second spot in the standings with 10 points.

SPAL, which started the game in the second spot, is currently in fifth with nine points but could fall further if Sampdoria wins at home Saturday against Inter Milan.
