Haryana STF arrests wanted criminal from Noida

Gurugram : A wanted criminal carrying a bounty of Rs 1.5 lakh on his head was arrested from Noida, adjoining Delhi, by Haryana's Special Task Force (STF), police said on Sunday.

Pradeep Lohar alias Kala was wanted in around two dozen cases of murder, attempt to murder, loot and other heinous crimes, STF Deputy Inspector General Satheesh Balan said.

The wanted criminal was arrested by STF Inspector Pradeep Yadav and his team from Noida's Sector 23 on Saturday night.

Kala was absconding since he gunned down one of his accomplices Pradeep Kumar and his mother in Haryanas's Hisar following some dispute last year.

"Kala is one of the most-wanted criminals in Haryana, especially in Hisar and Hansi areas of the state. We are grilling him after taking him on police remand," Balan said.
