Joshi points out mistake in Lok Sabha's agenda papers

New Delhi : Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Murli Mahohar Joshi on Tuesday pointed out a mistake in the Lok Sabha's agenda papers in Hindi, describ this as a violation of the constitutional provision relating to the business of the House.

As soon as the House met on Tuesday, Joshi stood up to point out the mistake to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, that while in the revised agenda papers in English mentioned that it was Tuesday, the papers in Hindi mentioned the day as "Guruvar" or Thursday.

"The mistake is violation of Article 120 of the Constitution," he added.

Mahajan accepted that it was a mistake and assured that she will find out how it happened.

Joshi said such mistakes have happened in the past as well and he feels sad that it continue to take place.
