Valencia to sign Villarreal winger Cheryshev on loan

Valencia : Valencia CF on Tuesday reached an agreement to sign Russian winger Denis Cheryshev from fellow Spanish football club Villarreal on a season-long deal.

The deal, which is still pending formalization, has not been announced by Villarreal yet, reports Efe.

"Valencia CF has reached an agreement this Tuesday with Villarreal CF, pending formalization, for the loan of player Denis Cheryshev until the end of the season," the club said.

The 27-year-old joined Villarreal in 2016, where he took part in 90 matches, netted 11 goals and made 15 assists.

Cheryshev has spent his entire career playing at Spanish clubs such as Real Madrid and Sevilla.
