This is how Priyanka Chopra avoided wardrobe malfunction in Grammy's dress
New Delhi : Priyanka Chopra at the Grammys or rather say her dress with plunging neckline took away all the lime light at the award show. She turned heads in a Ralph and Russo gown, with a way to deep neckline.
While some people liked the outfit, some criticized her for the choice as it had a good chance of wardrobe malfunction during the event.
Talking about her dress to a US Weekly, she revealed how designers Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo ensured that there is no scope of wardrobe malfunction. She mentioned that a secret detail that helped her pull off the dress with confidence was a piece of "tulle," especially used by the designers for Priyanka's "skin tone" that held her dress together and wasn't even visible to camera.
"So as much as people might think it would be hard to manage, they found this incredible tulle the same colour as my skin tone and sort of held the dress together with that," the actress told the publication and added: "So you can't even see it in the pictures but there was no way it would have happened if they didn't have that. It was like netting."
Priyanka clarified that the designers always keep in mind about the possibility of wardrobe malfunction with their dresses. "Ralph and Russo, whenever they make couture for me or custom outfits for me, they always do them fitted to my body, keeping these things (wardrobe malfunction) in mind," said Priyanka.
Meanwhile, she also claimed that she is not the kind of person who takes up fashion risks; she walks out in a dress only after she is 100% sure about her look. "I don't leave unless I'm super secure. I don't like wardrobe malfunctions! Nobody does!"
