New Delhi : Ever since the pandemic struck the world, the work from home culture came to extensive light and people working in their comfortable outfit is a common scene on many zoom calls. But what caught everyone's attention was a video of BBC anchor presenting the news as he wore shorts under the desk.

A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. In the short clip, anchor Shaun Ley wearing a jacket and a tie from the waist up but a pair of shorts below.

It was spotted when Camera panned through a wide angle view to show the newsroom from where the anchor was reporting on Israel. According to The Guardian, the newsreader was seen in casual attire on the day the UK recorded the hottest day of 2021 so far.

Since the video surfaced online, it has gone viral on social media. It is receiving hilarious reactions from the netizens. “Did someone forget to tell BBC newsreader Shaun Ley that it wasn’t a Zoom call?” wrote a user, while sharing screenshots of the viral clip.



However, there were many people who extended their support to the anchor and tweeted, “It does not matter what he wears to be comfortable as he often does long evening sessions.”
