'Falling in Love': Man makes it literal at lake, moments before proposing his girlfriend

New Delhi : This man gave the phrase – 'falling in love' – a literal meaning as he fell into a lake moments before proposing his girlfriend. The video of the incident has gone viral on the internet.

In the video, a Michigan man can be seen slipping and falling into a lake as he goes closer to his girlfriend to make the proposal.

According to Daily Star, Logan Jackson took his partner, Maria Gugliotta, to Lake Michigan in Grand Haven, hoping for a beautiful proposal.

The scene suddenly turned into a rom-com when Mr Jackson slipped into water.

Undeterred by the tiny obstacle, he brushed himself off and quickly got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend - who accepted happily.

"He fell so hard he popped up with a ring!" Maria Gugliotta wrote on Facebook while sharing the video last Saturday. "I'm so excited but first I have to stop laughing."
