New Delhi : Loud claps, bells and sound of shells were sounded at 5 pm for around five minutes to express heartfelt gratitude and respect for the frontline fighters of coronavirus in India – doctors, sanitation workers, public transport service officials and more.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had urged people of India to show the gesture while he addressed the nation on Thursday asking to ensure social distancing and janta curfew to break the chain of spreading coronavirus.
