Following the border tensions with China at the Ladakh border where some incidents occurred during which a number of people were injured and lost their lives due to the clashes. This comes as a digital strike against China.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has put out a list of 59 Chinese apps that have been banned by the Government of India. This move has been made because of some information which has recently come to light. The intelligence sources have suggested that these apps have been violating the terms of usage and compromising user privacy. Aside from this, they are also being used as malware and spyware in digital warfare against India.
