Politicos spread message of universal brotherhood at Iftar party
New Delhi : The 10th grand Iftar party by Chauthi Duniya was hosted by eminent Industrialist Kamal Morarka and renowned Journalist Santosh Bhartiya to commemorate the holy month of Ramzan and spread the message of universal brotherhood.
Mr Morarka and Bhartiya are both former Members of Parliament and professional and emotional pals.
This Iftar is one its own kind where all political celebrities sit together under one roof non-politically with an extension of the real Indian culture and secularism. This year former vice president of India Shri Hamid Ansari, veteran BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi, Delhi Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ramniwas Goel, Acharya Pramod Krishnam, RK Anand, Aslam Sherkhan, SY Qureshi former Chief Election Commissioner of India, Justice Markandey Katju, Pakistan High Commissioner Nayab Amir, Jamat-e-Islami Saleem Engineer attended the event.
Filmmaker Muzaffar Ali, noted Film Maker and Entrepreneur Prof. Fauzia Arshi, Sajjada Nasheen Abdulbari Chishti Ajmer Dargah Head, and journalists like Vinod Agnihotri, Nalini Singh, Ashok Vankhede, Abhey Dubey were also a part of it.
Former Vice President Hamid Ansari appreciated Kamal Morarka for the gesture of keeping Urdu segment alive on the digital platform as well. Pakistani High Commissioner claimed, "it's one the beautiful gestures of harmony and respect for each other."
BJP veteran leader Murli Manohar Joshi said that India should have more people like Kamal Morarka , Santosh Bhartiya and Prof. Fauzia Arshi as they play different roles in nation-building.
