Social worker Kushal Gupta spreads smiles by helping people in need with food and water
New Delhi : Someone has rightly said, "The happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others." In India, we have many people, whether they are rich or not, working for the betterment of society. These generous souls never leave a chance to help others around them. One such person is Kushal Gupta from Delhi. He is one of the most respected social workers in the city who has changed thousands of lives for the past many years.
From last year in April, Kushal Gupta has been of great help during these testing times in our country. Kushal ensureS that no one in Delhi sleeps hungry and helped as many people as he can. Since April last year, he has been getting a lot of calls from hundreds of people asking for food, water, and other necessities. Within an hour after their calls, help is provided to them.
Kushal Gupta shares, "Since 2020, I have offered cooked food, masks, foodgrains, sanitisers and water to people in Delhi and also to temples. Whoever made calls to me were provided with the necessities they required. I didn't let people sleep with an empty stomach when they were seeking help. We will keep helping people even once the pandemic is over. Social service should never stop, and that's one of the key steps to create a happy society."
Today, if society still has some humanity and kindness left, it is because of people like Kushal Gupta. Apart from helping people, he indulges in a lot of work-related to wrestling. In 2018, Manoj Tiwari gave Kushal the Youth Icon Award. He is also the Vice President of Delhi Kushti Mahasangh, General Secretary of Yuva Khel Pushtang and the trustee of Lalbaug Ka Raja Trust. Kushal also organises and participates in dangals in Delhi, UP, Haryana and Rajashthan.
